General Inspector of Financial Information lately came into agreement on Memorandum of Understanding between General Inspector of Financial Information of the Republic of Poland and the Processing Unit of Financial Intelligence of People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on the Cooperation and Exchange of Financial Intelligence Related to Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.
After the signature of representative of Algeria took place, the memorandum became effective and allows for rapid and constructive exchanges of information necessary to fight money laundering and terrorism financing.
Signing the memorandum with the Algerian financial intelligence unit gave Poland its 63rd agreement in the area of strict cooperation in combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
