The Ministry of Finance priced a reopening of 12-year Euro denominated bond for a nominal amount of EUR 750 mn. As a result the aggregate nominal amount of the bond maturing on 9 July 2024 is EUR 2,500 million. The reopening yields amount to 3.21 per cent., which is 135 basis points over interpolated mid-swap rate. The original bond offering issued in October 2012 was priced at 143 basis points and the yield of 3.385%.

The bonds were allocated mainly to investors from Germany and Austria (40%), France (17%), Poland (14%), UK (8%), CEE countries (6%), Benelux (4%) and Scandinavia (4%).

The institutional distribution was dominated by assets managers (53%). The bonds were also placed among banks (20%), pension funds and insurance companies (17%) as well as central banks (6%).

The issue was executed under Republic of Poland's Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme.

The lead managers on the transaction are Commerzbank, HSBC, ING oraz Société Générale.
