EuroWeek's award Yen Deal of the Year

Ministry of Finance would like to inform that Poland received the award Yen Deal of the Year from EuroWeek for the State Treasury bond issue in Japanese Yen launched in November 2012 (two tranches of bonds with maturities of 5 and 15 years and nominal amounts of JPY 56 billion and JPY 10 billion, respectively). The award from EuroWeek which is a confirmation of the deal success comes from the market participants' assessment for the best executed bond issue in a particular currency among all issuers.

The established Poland's brand on the Japanese market which has been built gradually since 2003 resulted also in increasing Japanese investors' exposure to bonds issued on a domestic market.
