The Bureau is responsible for the implementation of tasks associated with identification, detection and combating of crime committed by:
- persons employed in the KAS organisational units or officers in connection with their performance of official activities.
- persons employed in entities other than the KAS organisational units, or persons other than officers, in connection with the performance of official activities by persons employed in the KAS organisational units or officers, directed against persons employed in the KAS organisational units or offices during their fulfilment of official duties or in connection with their fulfilment,
as well as counteracting of such crime and prosecution of perpetrators.
