Department for Supervising Controls is responsible for supervision over activity of directors of the Revenue Administration Offices, Heads of the Customs and Tax Control Offices and Heads of the Tax Offices within the scope of conducted customs-tax controls and tax controls, excluding supervision over the conduct of controls towards the key taxpayers.
The main tasks of Department for Supervising Controls also include collection and processing of information relating to negative phenomena in the competence of National Revenue Administration, selecting entities for control, ordering control, and also conducting cases related to counteracting the use of bank's and credit union's activity for purposes related to tax frauds.
