Conference Economic Governance in the EU/euro area – What lessons for Poland, 5 July 2012

On 5th July an international conference Economic Governance in the EU/euro area – What lessons for Poland? will take place in Warsaw. The event is co-organized by the European Commission and the Bureau of Government Plenipotentiary for Euro Adoption in Poland. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss recent European economic governance enhancements, in particular its new elements as six-pack, macroeconomic imbalances procedure, fiscal compact as well as convergence and growth prospect for EU Member States, both within and outside the euro area. Simultaneously this conference aims at answering the question of implications of these changes from the Polish and other derogation countries' perspective.
Speakers include representatives of the European Commission, Ministry of Finance, National Bank of Poland, European Central Bank and one of Europe's leading think thank.
